Her passion is in educating Filipinos about the importance of financial planning. She is an ef
fective subject matter expert in the area of personal finance, who has combined the advanced education gained and the application of practical skills.
She is a Motivational Speaker, among the few, male denominated pool of resources persons in the field of Personal Finance. Charmz is equipped with a Masters degree in Educational Studies from the University of Western Australia where she graduated with honors.
She graduated at the top of her class, with a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas. Then she became part of the pioneering set of engineers hired by Fujitsu, a leading multi- national company.
She eventually pursued her call to teach. As a faculty member in UST, she taught Engineering Management, Financial Accounting, Statistics, Marketing, and Project Feasibility Study Studies. She also served as Chairperson of the Industrial Engineering Department.
She is currently a Registered Financial Planner (RFP). This allows her to help individuals plan and implement financial management. She also passed the Investment Company Representative Certification Exam, a government regulatory exam given by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This makes her eligible to sell mutual funds for an investment house. In April 2012, she completed a comprehensive program given by the Philippine Stock Exchange in partnership with University of Santo Tomas Graduate School. This earned her the Certified Securities Specialist title.
